Sample Receiving and Courier Technicians
Our sample receiving and courier technicians will assist the client by providing
bottle sets, making arrangements for sample pick-ups, and coordinate samples to
any subcontracting laboratories.
Project Scheduling
Sample Receiving Technicians request and document the following pertinent
project information prior to sample drop off or courier pickup.
- Project Name
- Sample Quantity and Matrix
- Requested Analyses
- Requested Method
- Reporting Limits
- Turn Around Time
Project Receipt and Login
Sample Receiving Technicians are involved with sample receipt and laboratory operations.
- Review COC
- Receive samples (Over the Counter, Courier, Overnight shipment)
- Execute sample login process
- Note and communicate any special instructions
- Sample container labeling and storage
- Inform Client Services of discrepancies or deviations from original project
- Coordinate sample delivery to subcontracting laboratories
Sample Disposal
Sample Receiving Technicians are involved in safely disposing of expired sample
materials in accordance with environmentally sound procedures.
- Storage for 45 days after sample receipt
